During a summer in Paris at the age of ten, Cameron developed an appreciation for the effortless yet captivating style of the French. Even at this young stage in her life, she knew that one day she would fulfill her dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Although a Los Angeles native, Cameron left California behind to attend the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York City. From there, she revisited the city where her ambitions began, and continued her education at Parsons Paris. She used this time to travel the world, and discover the elements that would one day be the basis for the inspirations behind her designs.  After internships held at Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, and Theory, Cameron was hired as a fashion designer and consultant for MTV networks. Cameron has since taken her broad knowledge of the design industry and synthesized her ideas into a unique creative vision for Kolae. Her designs reflect the experiences of a fashion-savvy woman who was raised in California, studied Parisian style guidelines first hand, became a global traveler, and yet calls New York City home.

KRISTEN DEPALMA, President and CEO
Even having resided in fashion capitals Miami and New York, Kristen was disappointed by the lack of form-flattering outerwear and chic social attire available at her favorite stores. Drawing inspiration from life in New York City and international travels, DePalma synthesized the concept for Kolae, a contemporary ready-to-wear line for well-dressed cosmopolitan women. A born entrepreneur, DePalma has always been motivated by all things business. She translated this motivation and dream of launching and running a successful fashion business, into a guiding vision driving the Kolae brand.
